Protect yourself against Ransomware!  Do NOT open attachments that you are unsure of, especially ones claiming to give you a UPS tracking #.  You could lose access to all of your photos, documents, music and Outlook PST files! (Unless you want to pay the mob $500USD to get them back).  Please do a daily backup!

Remember to hang up on phone calls from a "microsoft technician" claiming that your computer is infected.  How would they even know you own a computer?  They'll try to talk their way on to your machine to try and trick you into believing you've got serious issues with your machine, and then come at you with a $300 service charge.  It's a scam!  The other end of this scam is maybe a window pops up on your screen saying the same thing: "your computer is infected, call 1-800 etc. etc. for tech support!  In that case you either just clicked on a bad advertisement (in which case just navigate away from that webpage) or you really do have an infection.  But do not call that number!  This is a scam that several customers a week that come into our store fall for.   If you have any questions, please feel free to call.
